A Model for Change
In rural South Africa where 70% of children live in poverty, Ubuntu Mundo has developed a model for sustainable change. They feed children and create jobs, powered by a mission-driven commercial enterprise and the support of donors from around the world.
The Commercial Farm
The commercial farm grows sweet peppers for sale throughout South Africa. Operated as a mission-driven enterprise, 100% of the profits are invested in Ubuntu Mundo’s programs for children. Every pepper sold helps feed a child.
Introducing: Fresh Eggs This winter, Ubuntu Mundo is launching a chicken farm that will supply fresh eggs, a beloved addition to the weekly diets of the children in the program.
